This 451-bed physician-led hospital in Kansas City is seeking dynamic and motivated Neurologists to join its esteemed team. The positions focus on stroke care, Clinical Neurophysiology, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular, Epilepsy, and general neurology, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to comprehensive healthcare services in the community.

The existing Neurology Department includes 5 neurologists, with dedicated support staff to assist in providing optimal patient care. • Transitioning toward a comprehensive stroke center with allocated funds for a biplane suite.
• Future plans to add a Neurointerventional physician to the team.
• Expansion opportunities for sub-specialization in epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, clinical neurophysiology, and movement disorders.
• Seeking 3 to 4 neurologists with expertise in general neurology, stroke care, and other neurology sub-specialties.
• Up to 50% of sub-specialty volume available to start.
• Incoming epileptologists will collaborate with neurosurgeons specializing in epilepsy.

Schedule

• Regular hours from 8 am to 5 pm with flexibility.
• Administrative time (0.5 day per week) included in the schedule.
• Option to incorporate EMG lab sessions if interested.
• Call rotation shared with neurohospitalists at a ratio of 1:6.
• Night and weekend call responsibilities shared among the team.
• In-person hospital visits are rare due to telestroke services.
