Responsibilities
- Support engine and structural tests through instrumentation selection, placement, and data review to characterize dynamic environments (vibration, shock, acoustics)
- Support component qualification vibe and shock campaigns by providing test levels, hands-on execution support, and reviewing of test data
- Build and run finite element models for modal and frequency response models
- Use vibroacoustic analysis software to develop models, reduce data, and perform vibration and acoustic analysis
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams to improve designs and tests
- Document best practices and lessons learned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
- 0-5 years of professional experience
- Programming skills in MATLAB or Python
- Strong fundamentals in structural dynamics and vibroacoustics
- Able to lead & follow
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
- Professional Experience with vibroacoustics
- Experience with NASTRAN
- Experience with vibroacoustic analysis tools such as Wave6 or VAOne
- Hands-on experience with accelerometers and data acquisition systems
- Familiarity with aerospace testing standards (SMC-S-016, GEVS, etc)

Compensation
- Level 1 Range: $95,550 - $120,645
- Level 2 Range: $109,725 - $148,470
ITAR Requirements
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
