About the role
This position operates DXA equipment to assist physicians in diagnosis of disease. Essential duties include preparing DXA equipment, positioning patients, capturing diagnostic images, communicating quality issues, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for DXA exams according to established protocols.
- Interact with radiologists and RPA's to ensure quality exam images and patient care.
- Provide patient care and education instructions.
- Communicate quality issues, equipment issues, protocol changes, and procedure changes to supervisors.
- Operate DXA imaging equipment and verify patient records.
- Aid with other clinic needs, including exam room stocking and cleaning, scheduling, answering phones, data entry, and patient assistance.
- Maintain flexibility with work schedule as hours and locations may vary.
Requirements
- Current OBMI Limited DXA License and ARRT DXA Certification.
- CPR Certification and current CE’s.
- Ability to work cohesively with others.
- Flexible with work schedule.
Qualifications
- OBMI Limited DXA License, ARRT DXA Certification, CPR Certification, and current CE’s.
- Experience with DXA imaging equipment preferred.
- Willingness to train and commit to a 3-month learning journey to become a DXA limited license tech.

Pay
Starting wage during training period: $22.35 per hour. Wage upon obtaining license: $26.25 per hour.
Schedule
During training: Hours and location will be dictated by current DXA operating hours and assigned trainer schedules, rotating through Redmond, Westside, and Southside locations. After certification: Schedule TBD based on open positions, may include evenings and weekends. If a coveted 4/10-day shift is available, it will be opened internally, with seniority of highest consideration.
