DVM Mission Launch: Externship + New Graduate Opportunity
We are offering a paid externship track tied to a new-grad doctor position, designed for students graduating in 2027. Externs receive a $1,000/week stipend—double our standard rate—because this experience is directly aligned with a potential full-time role at our clinic. The externship provides hands-on exposure to our team, caseload, and community, allowing both you and us to evaluate fit without obligation.
What To Expect
- Broad clinical experience with mentorship and supervision from experienced veterinarians
- Opportunities to observe and participate in medical and surgical procedures, diagnostics, and client communication
- Genuine mentorship in a collaborative learning environment; no “lost in the shuffle” experience
- Practice interpreting fecal samples, blood smears, radiographs, urinalysis, and CBC/chemistry panels
- Hands-on technical skill development in a supportive setting
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Active enrollment in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program at an accredited university, graduating in 2027
- Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- Compassionate, team-player attitude with respect for clients and their pets
- Authorization to work in the United States
