Responsibilities

• Participate in medical and surgical procedures and the diagnostic process
• Engage in client communication when appropriate
• Interpret fecal samples, blood smears, radiographic images, urinalysis, and CBC/Chemistry panels
• Develop hands-on technical skills in a supportive environment

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Active enrollment in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program at an accredited university, graduating in 2027
• Professional comportment and appearance with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
• Compassionate, team-player attitude with respect for clients and their pets
• Authorization to work in the United States

DVM Mission Launch: Externship + New Graduate Opportunity

$1,000/Week Stipend | Open to the Class of 2027

This externship track is designed for students ready to launch their careers and includes a genuine path to a full-time role. Externs receive an enhanced $1,000/week stipend and gain hands-on experience while both parties evaluate fit. The externship offers broad clinical exposure, mentorship, and participation in medical and surgical procedures, diagnostics, and client communication in a supportive setting.
