DVM Mission Launch: Externship + New Grad Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive small animal care across general wellness, advanced medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care
• Collaborate with experienced veterinarians and technicians on medical and surgical procedures
• Participate in diagnostic processes including fecal exams, blood smears, radiographs, urinalysis, and CBC/chemistry panels
• Engage with clients to communicate care plans and build trust

What to expect during the externship

• Receive mentorship and supervision from seasoned veterinarians
• Observe and assist in medical and surgical procedures, diagnostics, and client communication
• Develop hands-on technical skills in a structured, supportive environment
• Refine diagnostic interpretation of fecal samples, blood smears, radiographs, urinalysis, and lab panels

Requirements

• Active enrollment in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program at an accredited university, graduating in 2027
• Authorization to work in the United States
