Dump Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our 100% employee-owned, family-run heavy civil construction company. The ideal candidate will operate a dump truck to transport materials such as ABC, crushed rock, and spoils for our concrete, underground utility, and roadway/grading projects in Mesa, AZ and surrounding job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate a simple 16 or simple 18 dump truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of material deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and other team members.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks on the truck as required.

Requirements

• No restrictions on driver’s license.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.

Pay

Starting at $27 per hour, depending on experience.
