Primary Role
The primary role of the Due Diligence Group Manager is to lead and manage the environmental due diligence group. Projects may include:
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Environmental compliance audits
- Providing environmental consulting services for real estate transactions and redevelopment.
- Evaluate all types of real estate, business transactions and industrial operations.
- Analyze and recognize potential environmental impact and compliance issues, as well as legacy environmental liabilities, and provide clear and concise findings, recommendations, and options regarding client deliverables.
- Cook up and manage due diligence products, including multi-site portfolios and teams in support of financial and industrial mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions.
- Supporting development efforts, including preparation of technical and cost proposals, to grow environmental due diligence work with existing and new clients.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, including identifying new opportunities and preparing technical and cost proposals.
- Lead, mentor, and support project teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget goals.
- Participate in professional development through conferences and continuing education.
- Contribute to V3’s One Team culture by assisting on projects beyond core responsibilities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, health, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in environmental due diligence, compliance evaluations, and applicable EH&S laws and regulations.
- Experience with regulatory site closure and remediation (preferred).
- Certification or licensure in field of expertise (preferred).
- Proven ability to assess diverse property, industry, and transaction types.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations with excellent research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage clients, teams, contractors, and regulators.
- Skilled at translating environmental and regulatory issues into clear business terms for clients.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Proven ability to demonstrate business development success and professional engagement.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License.
