About the Role
This is a dual position as a Cage Shift Supervisor and Main Banker. As Cage Shift Supervisor, you are responsible and accountable for the operations of the cage activities during a shift. As Main Banker, you will perform cage cash transactions.
Responsibilities
Cage Shift Supervisor
- Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.
- Maintain security and accountability of company funds located in the cage during your designated assignment, including training cage team members.
- Work in a window when necessary.
- Supervise cage cashiers and provide an orderly, positive working environment.
- Conduct investigations of variances (over/shorts) that may occur on shift and follow up with paperwork.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
- Monitor team member performance to ensure adherence to casino policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
- Comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and Tribal Regulations.
Main Banker
- Exchange cash for chips and chips for cash.
- Verify and prepare all Floor Cashier and Food and Beverage banks.
- Perform cashier exchanges for cashiers.
- Prepare deposits.
- Perform Slot hopper fills.
- Perform Table Games fills and credits.
- Receive money from bank institution.
- Take in and post cash and chips from soft count.
- Pay out Poker, Slot, or other jackpot winners when necessary.
- Prepare W-2G’s for all winnings over $1,199.00.
- Check and verify Jackpot Payout Slips for completion.
- Maintain accountability of Marker Bank.
- Provide excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
- Comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and Tribal Regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Main Bankers have access to sensitive areas and information (ACCRS & SRC) as per the ACGC Access Matrix.
- Signatory ability for all cage-related forms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in high-volume cash operations.
- Proficient in using the Ten Key Adding Machine.
- Professional demeanor and ability to communicate well with the public.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Ability to work in an intense, fast-paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary.
Working Conditions
- Stand, move, and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile and climbing stairs.
- Stand at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.
- Work in a smoke-filled environment.
- Moderate to high noise levels, especially in the casino environment.
- Grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry goods weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. intermittently.
- Sufficient dexterity to use office equipment, including computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones.
