We are seeking a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to join Utilita’s award-winning Field Services team. Responsibilities
- Install smart meters in domestic properties
- Champion Utilita’s customer-first approach to enhance our industry-leading Customer Experience
- Work flexible hours with an average of 4 jobs per day and travel times of 35 minutes
- Receive comprehensive training at our award-winning training academy in Warrington
Requirements
- Smart Metering qualifications – CCN1/ CMA1 and MET 1 (or equivalent)
- 12 months experience as a Smart Meter Engineer
- In-date UK Driving Licence

Pay
£38,993 as a base salary with an additional £330 per week for being on call (average 1 in 5 weeks), potentially earning a total of £42,293 per annum. Earnings are further boosted by a Meter Installation bonus of £25 per meter or £50 for a dual installation, and enhanced overtime for Sunday work.
Schedule
Average 4 jobs per day with an average travel time of 35 minutes across the UK. Jobs are planned out at least 10 weeks in advance.
