DTVB Housekeeping Inspector

About the role

Responsible for assisting the Director of Housekeeping to maintain the overall cleanliness of the hotel, including rooms and public areas. The role ensures guest satisfaction, safety and security of rooms, inventory and cost controls, and the selection, training, and management of a motivated and skilled workforce. It establishes a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality and provides exemplary performance for the staff to follow.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Operations
  • Maintain brand cleanliness standards for both rooms and public areas and inspect them to ensure standards are met.
  • Train staff in all aspects of housekeeping, including guest service.
  • Assist in administering guest satisfaction inspection procedures and reports.
  • Maintain key control and lost‑and‑found, ensuring staff are trained to follow correct procedures.
  • Plan room assignments with minimum disruption to guests.
  • Empower hotel staff to deliver great guest service by encouraging responsiveness to guest needs.
  • Meet or exceed hotel guest satisfaction goals.
  • Ensure hotel standards and services contribute to consistent guest service delivery.
• Guest Service
  • Assist in maintaining guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel.
  • Personally demonstrate a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guest needs with interest and concern for satisfying every guest.
  • Ensure hotel staff, including all new hires, are trained to meet service standards.
  • Develop and maintain incentive programs regarding housekeeping services.
  • Communicate hotel promotions, local attractions, and points of interest to guests.
