Housekeeping Aide

The Suites Pasadena is searching for a Housekeeping Aide to join the team. Housekeeping is a key partner in ensuring the safety of staff and residents, meeting the expectations of patients, residents, and their families.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Clean patient rooms, hallways, offices, family room, nurse’s stations, patios, main lobby, treatment rooms, laundry room and storage, employee break areas, physical therapy room, activity room, library, stairs, elevators, and entrances.
• Perform terminal cleaning procedures.
• Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to your supervisor.
• Report all accidents immediately.
• Maintain the care and use of supplies and equipment, and maintain the appearance of all areas.
• Perform regular inspections of resident rooms for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Perform other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Complete orientation required by company policy.
• Complete mandatory drug test upon hire.
• Be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Become familiar with and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Show, within three (3) days of hire, satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Housekeeper or similar role.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.
