About the role

This is a hybrid role that requires in-office presence in Atlanta, Georgia (Open to Relocating).

Responsibilities

• Build and improve key decision systems, predictive models, and business processes to drive maximum business impact.
• Explore new data sources both internal and external to Purchasing Power and use findings to further improve model performance.
• Design, implement, and run experiments to test new algorithms, technologies, and processes.
• Prototype solutions to business problems using cutting-edge technologies.
• Be part of a collegial team of like-minded data scientists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience OR a Master’s/PhD in a quantitative or technical field (Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science).
• Experience with R, Python, machine learning tools, and SQL.
• Evidence of applying advanced models to real-world problems.
• Ability to craft rigorous research/designs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevOps and Git.
• Track record of agency AI use and implementation.

Skills

• Driven analytics professional.
• Data mining, machine learning, software engineering.
