Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other health program professionals to manage a program component within a larger, significant health initiative.
• Carry out duties across various community-based settings where Medicaid waivered services are delivered, including shared and family-based residential programs, individual and group day support programs, and supported employment environments.
• Supervise staff, particularly those providing direct support or overseeing HCBS quality assurance, care assessment, and case management.
• Ensure adherence to all State and Federal rules, policies, and regulations.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working partnerships with providers and the community.
• Spend significant time in the field at HCBS locations and collaborate closely with other organizational units handling regulatory and oversight functions for the Department.

Qualifications

• Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: Experience working with individuals with disabilities and other related conditions. Knowledge of HCBS Medicaid Waivers. Knowledge and understanding of DSPD provider contracts. Experience with technical assistance and oversight of HCBS settings. Knowledge of the Medicaid Settings Rule.
• Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications: QIDP qualified. Ability to interact with individuals, families, and providers.
