DSP Supported and Independent Living Lead

About the role

The DSP Supported and Independent Living Lead is responsible for providing support to individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals for independence and supported living.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing and implementing individualized plans for supported living
• Facilitate communication between individuals, families, and service providers
• Provide training and guidance to individuals on daily living skills
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (social work, disability studies, etc.)
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of supported living models and best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency in using assistive technology

Pay

$30 - $35 per hour based on experience
