Duties
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
- Afford assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management strategies and support individuals in developing appropriate social skills
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals by following established protocols and procedures
- Document and report any incidents or changes in behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Promote and uphold resident rights and advocate for individuals' needs and preferences
Experience
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is preferred
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities is a plus
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies is beneficial
- First aid and CPR certification is desirable

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Shift availability: MUST be flexible to work across openings in our program. Staff will be given a schedule based on openings.
- Shift options: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6pm
