DSP (Direct Support Professional)

We are currently in need of an experienced and caring Direct Support Professional to help provide services for individuals with special needs. A driver's license is required. No prior experience is necessary, as training is provided to all staff.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, severe anxiety and depression, and Down syndrome. While the position includes cleaning chores, we're looking for candidates who are willing to go above and beyond by assisting individuals with personal hygiene, dressing, and running daily errands.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and accompany them in the community.
• Provide consistent support as a dedicated staff member.
• Assist individuals with disabilities in community settings.
• Help with personal hygiene tasks, dressing, and daily errands.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a non-business setting (preferred).
