DSP Direct Support Professional - Area Supervisor 40 hrs

About the role

The Area Supervisor at DPD is responsible for providing training, supervision, and structure to consumers to help them achieve their Individualized Health Plans (IHP) goals. They must also follow behavior plans and work collaboratively with other center staff to maintain a consistent and productive routine.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and supervision to consumers to help them achieve IHP goals.
• Follow behavior plans for individuals when indicated.
• Be responsible for the assigned area and work with other center staff to maintain a consistent routine.
• Cooperate with agency administration and/or Division and DHS staff during inspections or investigations.

Requirements

• Motivated to work as part of a team that prioritizes the best interests of residents.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid (non-provisional) driver’s license.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of CPR/First Aid and emergency evacuation procedures.

Full Time-Shift

40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm).
