Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background screenings
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and dependability
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities
- Assist with daily living skills and community participation
- Promote independence, choice, and person-centered outcomes
- Complete required documentation and service notes
Professional Growth at IFC
IFC's mission is for all Direct Support Professionals to achieve DSP-I, DSP-II, and DSP-III certification through the National Alliance of DSP (NADSP) Academy. Employees are expected to begin the certification pathway and become certified as a Highly Trained DSP within their first 6 months to 1 year of employment. IFC provides the training, support, and opportunities for advancement.
