DSHS DDA Residential Services Coordinator
About the role
The Department of Social and Health Services, Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) is hiring a Residential Services Coordinator. This role involves hiring and scheduling direct care staff, assisting with training and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Determine staffing needs and schedule coverage for each home.
- Carry the after-hours duty phone to respond to emergencies or call-outs as needed.
- Assist with the recruitment, training, and orientation of Attendant Counselor (AC) staff.
- Schedule and monitor mandatory training completion for staff.
- Review leave requests and inform staff about availability.
- Complete time and attendance records for staff and respond to emergent staffing needs.
- Facilitate ordering, purchasing, and payments for goods and services while addressing staff questions and concerns.
Requirements
- Skilled in organization and management of staff schedules.
- Skilled in creating tracking, filing, and monitoring systems.
- Experience supporting people with developmental disabilities.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to anticipate problems and proactively work to mitigate them.
Qualifications
- Professionals with a high school graduation or GED and three years of experience working with clients with developmental disabilities.
- Three years of experience as an Attendant Counselor 3 equivalent or higher-level class.

Benefits
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday, 9:00AM - 6:00PM, with a stand-by rotation.
