Job Summary

We are now hiring a Director of Staff Development (DSD LPN/LVN) to join our healthcare team. The position offers a competitive salary range of $83,000.00 - TBD per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary orientation, educational, and learning opportunities in a supportive environment to assist staff in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to perform assigned duties safely and effectively.
• Monitor nursing staff activities to ensure the quality of care complies with state, federal, and corporate standards.
• Direct the infection prevention and control program and oversee its activities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
• A Nursing degree from an accredited college or graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program.
• A current, unencumbered license to practice as LPN/LVN in the state.
• Knowledge of, or training in, adult learning or previous training experience.
• A thorough understanding of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to long-term care.

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Infection Prevention Certification, supervisory experience, and experience with PointClickCare.
