Drywaller
About the role
DPR Construction is seeking Drywallers for its Raleigh-Durham Business Unit. Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial construction, including Drywall Finishers, Drywall Mechanics, and General Carpentry.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality product
- Read and understand drawings
- Work as a team to maintain production
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively with both management and team
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in metal stud framing, drywall hanging, and finishing
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Physical requirements include climbing, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, balancing, squatting, and kneeling for prolonged periods
- Primarily works in an on-site environment, which may be indoors or outdoors
- May involve working at heights, exposure to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust, and fumes
Qualifications
- Experience with acoustical ceilings and exterior framing
- Experience using drywall finishing tools (Bazooka, Boxes, Pumps, etc.)
- Experience operating lifts/equipment
- Own tools
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
