Position Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience in the Installation and Supervision of Metal Framing & Drywall
- Managing field staff to ensure quality and productivity on projects
- Adherence to and responsibility for company safety program
- Ability to read blueprints (ability to Layout preferred, but not required)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Foreman must be able to coordinate with other trades and the GC in order to maintain the project schedule
- Foreman must be able to build and maintain project labor to complete project schedule
- Foreman must be able to lay out the project
- Foreman must be able to Order necessary materials from purchasing agent
- Foreman must hold necessary/required on-site meetings with subcontractors and in-house labor
- Foreman must keep all necessary job records required by Lotspeich and the customer
- Foreman must be able to verify quantities and hours for labor payment
- Foreman must have a working relationship with other foremen / superintends of the customer and subcontractors
- Foreman must be able to document the changes and send field RFI’s
- Foreman must be resourceful and self-reliant to overcome job site obstacles
- Foreman must have OSHA certification for using equipment (boom and scissor lift) or tools
- Foreman must have OSHA certification for being a “competent person” for the purpose of inspecting scaffolds
- Foreman must have taken the OSHA 10-hour safety course
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises field employees in the Interior Department
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Interviews, hires, and trains employees
- Plans, assigns, and directs work
- Applies performance
- Rewards and disciplines employees
- Addresses complaints and resolves problems
