Drywall Foreman - WPB

Position Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience in the Installation and Supervision of Metal Framing & Drywall
• Managing field staff to ensure quality and productivity on projects
• Adherence to and responsibility for company safety program
• Ability to read blueprints (ability to Layout preferred, but not required)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Foreman must be able to coordinate with other trades and the GC in order to maintain the project schedule
• Foreman must be able to build and maintain project labor to complete project schedule
• Foreman must be able to lay out the project
• Foreman must be able to Order necessary materials from purchasing agent
• Foreman must hold necessary/required on-site meetings with subcontractors and in-house labor
• Foreman must keep all necessary job records required by Lotspeich and the customer
• Foreman must be able to verify quantities and hours for labor payment
• Foreman must have a working relationship with other foremen / superintends of the customer and subcontractors
• Foreman must be able to document the changes and send field RFI’s
• Foreman must be resourceful and self-reliant to overcome job site obstacles
• Foreman must have OSHA certification for using equipment (boom and scissor lift) or tools
• Foreman must have OSHA certification for being a “competent person” for the purpose of inspecting scaffolds
• Foreman must have taken the OSHA 10-hour safety course

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervises field employees in the Interior Department
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees
• Plans, assigns, and directs work
• Applies performance
• Rewards and disciplines employees
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems
