Job Summary

At Drybar, we focus on providing exceptional blowout services. We're seeking a Shift Lead/Cosmetologist who can manage a team, ensure high standards are met, and deliver outstanding service.

About the Role

As a Shift Lead/Cosmetologist, you will be responsible for supervising the team, managing client experiences, training new staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shop staff on any given shift assigned
• Lead client experience from check in to check out ensuring Drybar standards are upheld
• Assign clients to stylists, delegate tasks to bartenders and stylists, execute meal period and break schedule
• Maintain shop inventory regularly, check back bar and retail supplies, place orders when needed to meet supply level standards
• Train new bartenders on using Booker and Drybar’s 10 core values
• Ensure Stylists are completing blowouts in under 45 minutes
• Implement problem-solving strategies and maintain awareness
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service
• Ensure all company procedures and policies, federal, state, and local regulations are followed
• Report all time worked for self and others in a timely fashion

Requirements

• A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying
• Shampoo, blow-dry, and amazing hair styling & finishing skills
• Ability to do a blowout in under 45 minutes

Pay

Competitive hourly wages beginning at $19.50 per hour
