Dry Shipper - Aseptic (Days)

About the role

We are looking for a self-driven individual to join our team as a Dry Shipper, performing various warehouse functions to complete shipments by processing and loading orders.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Safety SOPs and procedures
• Perform Loading, Case Picking, VNA, and Receiving functions per SOPs
• Provide break relief to Dock Shipper when needed
• Operate a stretch wrapper, forklift, dock equipment, and battery changer safely
• Fulfill orders per SOPs and customer/facility guidelines
• Read and understand load tags to verify skid quantities
• Secure cases per SOPs on quality pallets to maintain product integrity during transit
• Receive, label, and perform basic tasks within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for product identification and adjustments
• Utilize inventory management systems efficiently and accurately (WMS, Yard Management System (YMS)/Infolink)
• Participate in Shift Change Brief with prior shift
• Inspect equipment and submit work orders for repairs to Leadership
• Keep assigned areas and work floor clean and organized
• Adhere to all food safety and food quality requirements, including SQF and regulatory standards
• Maintain a sanitary work area and report food safety problems to appropriate personnel
• Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience or training as a forklift operator is desirable
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable
• Ability to become forklift certified

• Lifting: Heavy (over 70 lbs.) frequently
• Standing: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours)

• Walking: Constantly
• Ability to climb: frequently
• Bending: Frequently
• Ability to work with arms outstretched to the front
• Pushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs. without assistance frequently
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 32 – 38 degrees)

• May be subject to exposure to ingredients used in food manufacturing, including allergens

Pay

The pay range for this position is $26.77 - $29.22 USD.
