About the role
Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community-based social service organization providing services for families involved with DFCS and the broader community. We are seeking a Drug Screen Collector to join our team. Counties served include Cherokee, Bartow, Cobb, Paulding, Polk, and Floyd.
Responsibilities
- Upon receiving the referral, make collateral calls to the referring agency, review all documentation and notes pertaining to the family or individual’s history and case plan.
- Provide drug screen collection: Sweat Patch, urine, hair, or oral fluid specimen collection.
- Collect specimens in the home, community, or office. Travel is expected.
- Attend court hearings as requested by DFCS and attorneys.
- Maintain compliance with required DFCS training and other contract-specific trainings, including but not limited to: Specific Drug Screen Collection Training, Safe to Sleep, Child Safety Car Seat, HIPAA, Workplace Violence, Security Information Awareness, CPR/First Aid, etc.
- Track units of service and dates of service as outlined on service authorization.
- Complete service documentation and mileage.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-year Human Services experience.
- Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record and proof of insurance.
- Pass a criminal background check, other safety screenings, and drug screen.
- Must have access to a computer to contact clients and document services provided.
