Drug Screening Collector

About the Role

This position supports medical and safety efforts at a large-scale construction site in Boise, ID. The Drug Screening Collector is responsible for collecting drug and alcohol testing samples while adhering to established site procedures and all applicable HIPAA laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform oral fluid, urine drug, and breath alcohol collections, trained to DOT standards for drug and alcohol testing.
• Carry out additional duties and assume responsibilities as identified by the manager to ensure the efficient operation of WorkCare.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three years’ related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Skill in managing multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to create and edit written materials and communicate effectively to diverse audiences.

Skills

• Proficient in Windows operating system, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn other software as needed.

Physical Demands

• Requires sitting for long periods, working at a desk, and using a computer/phone.
• Some bending, stretching, and manual dexterity for computer use.
• Occasionally may need to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds and climb stairs.
• Ability to kneel for extended periods while rendering emergency care and/or CPR.

Work Environment

• Mainly indoor, office/clinic environment with moderate noise levels.
• Controlled temperature and good air quality.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $21 - $24 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
