Drug Screen Technician

About the role

The Drug Screen Technician position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Health Connect America’s drug testing services. This role involves collecting and processing patient specimens for drug, alcohol, and DNA tests, adhering to strict protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients' drug tests are conducted respectfully, dignified, and confidentially.
• Secure collected specimens and document accordingly.
• Collect and process patient specimens for drug, alcohol, and DNA tests.
• Collect urine specimens from donors at local facilities and customer locations.
• Treat all clients with care, courtesy, and professionalism.
• Perform both observed and unobserved urine collections.
• Comply with all relevant state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Stay updated on industry trends through continuous training.
• Process instant tests and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of drug and alcohol testing procedures.
