Primary Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Necessity for attention to detail
- The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output
- Able to identify any issues with the product or process
- Correctly identifying the correct batch is being milled
- Ensure belts, pans, and knives are always cleaned between compounds
- Following all safety procedures and guidelines
- Assisting in modifying and updating procedures
- Operating a forklift for various functions
Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School or GED preferred
- Willing to work overtime including weekends
- Close visual work required
- Knowledge of general computer skills
- Attention to detail
Pay and Schedule
- Hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift
- 2nd Shift: 2:45pm-11:00pm
