Driver/Vibrant Life Assistant

Driver Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicles.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone, or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Absorb and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B License required with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Knowledgeable of all safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
• Organized, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
