Driver Transporter

Job Duties

• Overnights and daytime availability are required (Drivers are on call – will be doing removals only.)
• Current [state] driver’s license with good driving record
• Past experience is preferred but am willing to train.
• Must be willing to drive to complete removals that can be at times hours away.
• Professionalism and compassion are a must.

  Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A Current [state] Driver's License
  • Ability to lift 75lbs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to empathize with client families and their guests and demonstrate tact and patience in emotionally charged situations.

    Physical Requirements and Work Environment

    • Regularly required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift up to 75 pounds, and may be required to lift up to 100 pounds.
    • Routine exposure to chemicals and/or blood borne pathogens.
    • Must be able to drive a company vehicle and maintain a good driving record and must be insurable under company vehicle insurance.
    • Routine exposure to natural elements such as inclement weather, extreme temperatures, uneven ground, dust, gas, and/or fumes.
    • Must be willing to work safely and comply with the Company’s safety procedures, including wearing any personal protective equipment that may be required.
    • Employees in this role are regularly required to push and pull.
    • Outdoor duties may require exposure to natural elements such as inclement weather, extreme temperatures, uneven ground, dust, gas, and/or fumes.
