Driver - Suwanee, GA

About the role

As a Warehouse Driver at World Electric, you’ll be the face of the company, transporting materials to our valued customers in a company-provided 24’ state body truck. You’ll ensure products arrive in perfect condition while operating equipment safely and adhering to all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a motor vehicle safely, following all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicate with sales associates or managers to problem-solve and meet customer needs.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner toward customers and team members.
• Ensure the truck is in safe operating condition and maintain a clean appearance.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages weighing up to 50 lbs (occasionally over 75 lbs with assistance).
• Load and unload trucks with equipment and construct pallets to prevent damage during delivery.
• Participate in safety programs, follow procedures, and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages up to 75 lbs (occasionally over 75 lbs with assistance).
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and constant use of hands.
• Continuous mental and visual alertness to maintain safety and accuracy.
• Flexibility and mobility in body movements, including removing gates from flatbed trucks.
• Strong math and reading skills.
