About the role
Our Shuttle Drivers play a crucial part in moving, supplying, and providing for America's favorite brands. They ensure that products are delivered safely and securely, adhering to DOT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection reports.
- Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
- Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
- May perform line haul and/or backhaul as needed.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
- Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
