About the role
Our Shuttle Drivers play a crucial part in moving, supplying, and providing for America's favorite brands. They ensure product security during transport and maintain accurate logs according to DOT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the rig for defects before and after each trip and submit DOT inspection reports.
- Ensure product is securely loaded inside the trailer for undamaged transport.
- Maintain driver logs (either manual or using PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
- Perform line hauls and backhauls as needed.
- Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
- Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- The ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
