The Driver plays a vital role in supporting families and funeral home operations by providing safe, respectful, and professional transportation services. This position assists with the care and transfer of the deceased, supports funeral and memorial services, maintains company vehicles, and ensures every interaction is handled with compassion, dignity, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Transport deceased from various locations to Funeral Homes and CemeteryAssist with funeral services such as transferring and lifting of deceased, dressing and casketing, visitation, viewings, and witness insertions at the crematoryHandle general maintenance and cleaning of vehicles belonging to the facilityTreat all customers and passengers with courtesy and respect at all times.Drive company vehicles within legal standards Qualifications Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR checkPrevious customer service experience preferredHigh level of compassion and integrityAbility to lift 150- 200 pounds without the assistance of mobile or powered equipment Page-Theus Funeral Home & Cremation Services has been a trusted part of the Leesburg, Florida community and the greater Lake County area since 1924.
