Driver | Part Time | Meals on Wheels Program

Responsibilities

• Deliver hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities along an assigned route.
• Provide an essential safety check by briefly interacting with each client to ensure they are safe and well.
• Report any concerns or changes in a client’s condition to program staff.
• Maintain delivery logs and follow food-safety guidelines.
• Represent the program with kindness and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact compassionately with clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a community dining program or similar service.
• Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and reporting.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• Previous experience working with seniors or vulnerable populations.
