Driver - PACE

About the Role

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Driver to work at Pathways Southwest Iowa located at 1702 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. This position offers meaningful work serving participants and connecting with co-workers in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexible start and end times.

Pay

Up to $23.36/hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation of Immanuel Pathways participants under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor
• Transport meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy items, and other necessary items
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle on a daily basis
• Communicate any safety issues to the Transportation Supervisor
• Transport individuals with special mobility needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s license (Chauffeur's license required prior to hire in Iowa)
• CDL certificate may be required depending on location
• CNA certificate may be required depending on location
• Must successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
