Driver On call

About The Role

As a Driver at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will work as part of a team to provide exceptional hospitality and safe transportation to residents of Belmont Village Senior Living by transporting them to scheduled appointments and recreational outings using company vehicles which may include a wheelchair van, wheelchair bus, and car. You will play a critical role in the day-to-day upkeep and safety inspections for all company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances
• Assist residents in and out of company vehicles as needed which may include the use of a mechanical wheelchair lift
• Actively participate in the day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of the company vehicles which may include fueling and taking vehicles for scheduled service appointments
• Auxiliary with scheduled resident activities as needed
• Auxiliary with Receptionist or Concierge duties as needed
• Maintain hospitality, customer service, care and satisfaction as the priority in every interaction

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Please note CDL with Passenger Endorsement may be required in some states
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and work
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Congistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
