Driver NCDL

About the role

The Driver (Non CDL) delivers insulation products to scheduled job sites, ensures on-time delivery, and maintains professional customer interactions. This role also assists with warehouse functions, including loading and unloading trucks.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily pre-trip inspections, including pre-inspection forms, and completes minor maintenance if needed.
• Reports mechanical or maintenance-related issues to the Division Manager promptly.
• Handles shipping and receiving duties, including data entry of orders, verifying quantity and quality of materials, and documentation.
• Completes daily logs in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensures customer signatures on receipts and collects COD charges when specified.
• Verifies material counts for accurate inventory.
• Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders.
• Reports any issues discovered at job sites to the Division Manager.

Requirements

• One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26’ box truck, automatic transmission, or similar vehicle).
• Ability to receive and maintain a medical card.
• Capability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out of the back of the vehicle.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record as per insurance provider requirements.
