Responsibilities

• Read plans (both Civil and Architectural)
• Process submittals and shop drawings
• Perform job costing and analysis (both short-term and long-term forecasting)
• Prepare construction time schedules (prefer experience in Microsoft Project)
• Prepare and submit monthly billings and invoicing
• Process change orders
• Process subcontractor billing and change orders
• Order and track material shipments
• Attend weekly meetings with owners, subs, vendors, and Talley personnel
• Serve as liaison between jobsite superintendent and office staff
• Demonstrate flexibility in duties and a "get-it-done" attitude
• Pass post-offer drug screen
• Provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the U.S. (E-Verify participation required)
• Some travel may be required
• Work in the field as needed

Requirements

• 2-4 years' experience in Heavy Civil Construction
• 1-3 years of experience working with sewer, stormwater, and water main projects preferred
• Associate’s Degree preferred (Civil, Engineering, or Construction Management)
• Experience in estimator bidding on D.O.T. projects preferred
• Project Management experience preferred
• Knowledge of Take-Off software (Agtek Software a plus)
• Knowledge of Estimating Software (HCSS HeavyBid Software a plus)
