Driver/Material Handler

About the role

Our Client is a local manufacturing company in Cowlitz County, specializing in designing, engineering, fabrication, machining, and technical support. They have a commitment to quality and customer service, making them a trusted leader in the industry for more than 50 years.

Responsibilities

• Packaging materials for shipment
• Making local deliveries using a 20' flatbed truck
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating a forklift
• Performing cycle counts and processing materials
• Reading blueprints
• Troubleshooting material and delivery issues
• Working safely while maintaining speed and accuracy

Requirements

• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience
• At least 1 year of forklift experience
• Must pass a DOT physical
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Coachable attitude with the ability to learn quickly
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation

Preferred qualifications include some college or trade school education, a clean driving record, previous experience loading and unloading materials, and experience with shipping software.

Pay

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities available.

Schedule

Full-Time, local deliveries using a 20' flatbed truck, with no CDL required.
