Driver/Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials within or near facility, yard, or worksite using a Class 6 straight truck or Class 3 with trailer.
• Utilize a Class 6 straight truck or Class 3 with trailer to transport and deliver products as needed.
• Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers, ensuring accurate picking.
• Pull and assemble orders for will call customers quickly, accurately, courteously, and respectfully.
• Load materials onto pallets or crates for transfer to various locations and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Safely assist in the loading and unloading of products to customers' locations and return products.
• Report any problems encountered with customers before leaving the delivery location.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the branch warehouse and yard to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

Requirements

Knowledge of the construction industry and concrete services is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in material handling and transportation preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
