Driver for School Food Service

About the role

Driver needed for school food service program. Must be reliable and motivated. This role is responsible for delivering food and supplies to local schools and assisting with food service tasks as needed. The ideal applicant is dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment. Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in schools, and submit to a tuberculosis test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food supplies and satellite lunches to designated school sites daily.
• Transport catering orders as scheduled.
• Assist with food service tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry food and supply items up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to assist with general food service duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Previous food service or delivery experience preferred, but not required.
• Must obtain proper documentation to work in schools.
• Submit to a tuberculosis test.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, day shift, no weekends or holidays. Summers off.
