Driver for School Food Service

Driver needed for school food service program in the Belleville, NJ area.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, day shift, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
• No weekends or holidays
• Summers off
• 10-month seasonal position from September to June with the possibility of summer work

Responsibilities

• Deliver food supplies and satellite lunches to designated school sites daily
• Transport catering orders as scheduled
• Put away food and supply orders, cleaning, breaking down boxes, and other related tasks
• Assist with general food service duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry food and supply items up to 50 lbs
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Must obtain proper documentation to work in schools and submit to a tuberculosis test
• Previous food service or delivery experience preferred, but not required

Work Environment

This position involves driving, stocking, and cleaning in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
