Driver (Class B)

Job Summary: The Food Service Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating Class B straight trucks to deliver food and related products to customers, ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining product integrity. Key Responsibilities Perform pre/post-trip safety checks on vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations.Inspect trailers for proper loading and security, report safety issues, and ensure adherence to DOT and company safety policies.Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, accurately handling invoices and documentation.Drive routes to deliver and unload products, verifying delivery accuracy and obtaining customer signatures.Manage returns, damaged goods, and trailer cleanliness, securing freight and equipment at shift end.Maintain logs of hours of service per federal and company requirements.Perform general housekeeping duties and assist with equipment and trailer maintenance as needed. Qualifications And Skills High School Diploma or GED required.Valid Class B license, 21+ years old, with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).Must meet state licensing, certification, and DOT health card requirements.Ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 90 pounds, and operate related equipment.Pass drug tests, criminal background checks, road tests, and meet all safety and regulatory standards.
