Driver Class B

About the role

Responsible for driving Class B straight trucks to deliver and unload food and related products, ensuring timely and safe transportation in compliance with DOT regulations. Acts as the company's face to customers, building strong relationships through professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and inspections before and after trips.
• Follow DOT and company safety policies, reporting hazards promptly.
• Load, unload, and verify freight accuracy, ensuring proper securing and documentation.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Complete required paperwork, logs, and handle equipment securely.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areas, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B license, 21+ years old.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Ability to pass drug tests, background checks, and road tests.
• Current or ability to obtain DOT Health Card.
• Physically capable of lifting and handling freight weighing 10-90 pounds.
• Strong safety awareness, professional communication skills, and ability to work independently within a team environment.
