Driver, CDL B

About the role

We are hiring a Microbulk Driver (Floater) in Deer Island, OR for Airgas National Carbonation. The position requires valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker & Airbrake endorsements, no more than two traffic convictions in the last three years, and one year of CDL driving experience in the last five years. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluations and complete all required documentation of the assigned vehicle on a daily basis, following company procedures.
• Safe and accurate loading/unloading and transporting of CO2 products for servicing, including climbing 14 ft ladders, operating battery and electric power tools, and maneuvering up to 500 lbs with a hand truck.
• Maneuvering equipment up to 500 lbs with a hand truck and working overhead regularly.
• Obtaining required signatures from customers as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker & Airbrake endorsements.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accidents in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years.
• Able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• One year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 5 years.

• Able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• One year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 5 years.
