Driver CDL

About the role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role involves driving a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in urban, suburban, and rural settings, including tight spaces like construction zones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover equipment, tools, and supplies to/from customer worksites.
• Drive safely in various conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural areas.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites.
• Maintain a customer service-oriented attitude.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license with CDL License and acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred.
• Experience driving flatbeds, RGN/lowboy, or dovetail trailers.

Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors as required by the job.

Pay

Base pay range: $27.07 - $40.59 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors such as experience and location.
