Driver CDL

About the role

Join Mondelēz International/NABISCO as a Driver CDL in Kent, WA to deliver snack products such as Oreo, Ritz, Triscuit, Sour Patch and Swedish Fish safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses. Safety and timely deliveries are paramount to ensure customers receive quality products.

Schedule

Possible schedule, subject to change based on customer demand: Monday to Friday (4 or 5 days), starting between 2 PM to 4 PM or 2:30 AM, finishing when the work is done. Shifts are 8‑10 hours, totaling 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities.

Location

Principal location: Branch 19032 62nd Ave S., Kent, WA 98032.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety.
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch.

Requirements

• CDL‑Class A license with at least 2 years of proven safe driving experience.
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license, U.S. passport, or federal ID (required for access to a military base facility).
• Successful completion of drug test, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and background check.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration (link provided by employer).
• Preferred direct store delivery (DSD) experience.

Qualifications

• Customer‑oriented attitude with excellent support for key customers.
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions (DOT requirement to check the last 10 years).
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature‑controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency with a smartphone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
• Ability to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and schedules.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly pay rate: $33.35. Shift differential: $0.40 for all hours worked between 8 PM and 4 AM. The position offers healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (eligibility requirements apply).
