About the role
We are hiring a Microbulk Driver in Asheville, NC for our bulk cryo logistics division. The position comes with a sign-on bonus of $5000 and a base salary of $27.00 per hour. There's also a day shift schedule with weekend availability being a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles equipped with Class B Driver w/ Hazmat, tanker, and Airbrake endorsements
- Maintain appropriate licenses and certifications
- Manage traffic violations and accidents within specified limits
- Lift and move heavy objects using material handling equipment
- Operate within a drug-free workplace environment
- Work in Asheville, NC and surrounding areas
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT, tanker, and Airbrake endorsements
- No more than two (2) traffic convictions or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last three (3) years
- No driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
- Able to work in a drug-free environment
- Able to lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
- One (1) year of CDL driving experience in the last five (5) years or proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last five (5) years
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift Certification
- Pallet Jack Certification
